On the 16th of December 2022, the Fédération de Internationale Football Association (FIFA) released a new
regulation guiding football agents. The FIFA Football Agents Regulation has overtaken the former regulation – the
FIFA Regulation on Working with Intermediaries. It is important to note that part of the regulation came into force on the 9th of January 2023, with the other part of the regulation coming into force in October 2023.1
